B.O.O.M! Bold Opera On the Move launches it's second production: Mozart's Die Zauberflöte

B.O.O.M! Bold Opera On the Move is excited to have Timothy Nelson as our stage director and musical director of our second production: Die Zauberflöte On the Move. This shortened opera, only performed in an hour and a half with only 6 singers and a pianist will be played in the season 2016-2017 all over the Netherlands. Soprano, Amanda Key will play the combined role of Königin der Nacht / Erste Dame.
Soprano, Amanda Key was among the finalists of the 2016 Beethoven Award performing opera scenes from Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna, Barbarina) and Cosi fan tutte (Despina) at the Prague Municipal House with the North Czech Philharmonic in corporation with the European Music Academy under the direction of Maestro Wolfgang Scheidt.
Soprano soloist Amanda Key was well recieved at the 2016 voorjaar concert with Opera Koor Dordrecht along with Harald Quaaden, tenor and Martijn Sanders, baritone. Highlights from Verdi operas was among the repertoire directed by Peter Schlamilch and accompanied by Sunghee Jo. Amanda will be joining again as the Soprano soloist in the 2017 concert series with Opera Koor Dordrecht on March 26, 2017.
